Good morning all! I've been perusing the boards for 2 years and appreciate the info that I've gleaned from each of you. This morning I am going for my RNY consult. I had previously been approved by insurance for lap-band and had gone thru all of the pre stuff and my insurance changed to not include weight loss surgery. Well, now I'm at it again. This time pursuing RNY because of the amount of weight I have to lose. I'm nervous but excited about the next steps.
I look forward to chatting with you all and gaining more knowledge as I begin my journey.

I am a little farther along in the journey than you but have not had surgery yet either. I can't wait ! Happy to have you here--the more the merrier!

Welcome and Good Luck!!! I also have perusing this site for quite sometime now and just recently joined and started posting. I've not had my surgery yet either, still going through the insurance loop holes, hoping for October, but will have to wait and see. Looking forward to this journey as well...
