Got a surgery date...

but I need to get back on track with my eating plan. My date is August 20th, and I start my liquid diet on August 10th. I haven't been naughty, in fact there is only good foods in the house. I don't have the sugar cravings like I used to either. However, I feel like I'm in a slump, like I've gotten lazy with weighing and eating regularly.

Anyone else go through this so close to surgery?

I have been pretty good abou****ching what I eat, but I have to start my pre-op diet tomorrow.

Congrats on the surgery date....Just got mine too--AUG 28th! Aug 20th is the weigh-in date! My docs don't do the liquid diet, but geez, I think it sounds like a smart thing too do, so I think I will start that next week. I mean clean out the intestines sounds smart! Good luck on your journey!
