I got my approval!!

After 10 years of research, a year of jumping through hoops and countless prayers and moments of aggravation...yesterday I got my letter of approval from BCBS! I am thrilled....I think. For some reason my nerves have kicked in and my doubts are creeping in for the first time. Did anyone else feel this when the fight was over and it hits you that it is REALLY going to happen?? I KNOW the risks and benefits....and I KNOW that this it the right thing to do for me. Just nerves, I guess?

Your reaction is completely normal. When I got my approval I were nervous and excited at the same time. The time will pass quickly now!

Yesss!!! It does happen. However think of all you went through to get here and How Health Happy and proud you will be in just a few months post op.. Happy for you I remember being just as happy and nervous as you are now. Best wishes with everything and here's to a speedy recovery

Thanks everyone!! I AM excited....just nervous and feeling a little like " NOW WHAT DO I DO??!!" My dr does not require a liquid diet. They did give me 1400cal a day diet that they want me to follow so that I don't gain weight before surgery. They gave me this in August...of course I haven't started it yet. TODAY I start it.

I work in health care so I had one of my employees check on my authorization and it has been approved... I know exactly how you feel!! I'm scared and excited..
