Today is the annual office Christmas party!   In other words - FOOD HELL!

I will do my best to make the best/healthiest choices for me.

Food for the day -

B - Big protein shake

S - Apple

L - Baked chicken and veggies or a salad w/baked chicken

D - Depends on how I do with lunch

S - Protein bar

Lots of coffee and water.

Gym and acupuncturist tonight.

Enjoy the day everybody.

Breakfast: Protein shake

Lunch: ? Not quite sure yet - haven't figured out in the busy schedule whether I will be home or out.

Supper: 1 hard shell taco and a few chips/salsa/queso (heading to a Mexican restaurant after m sister's graduation from her MBA progrem).

Snacks if needed: Apple with greek yogurt, cheese stick

 

Trying to organize a busy day in my head and haven't quite figured it out yet. Everyone, for the moment, is healthy today so back to regular routine - with me have a whole week's worth of everything to accomplish in the one "normal" day we've had this week. Yikes! Oh well, busyness keeps me from snacking, which is something I've been working hard on the last couple of days! And the scale moved down a smidge this morning so its working! :)

D - Haven't gotten that far yet.  Going to a friend's going away party. 

Working hard to get a few things wrapped up so I can leave work around noon.  I have a few more gifts to buy and I want to get my nails done for the holidays.  Will likely do a Jillian Michaels workout or Wii Zumba before resuming my Sons of Anarchy marathon.

Well today I'm making a big pot of my famous home-made meatballs with marinara sauce.  I do this once a week now because I can keep them in the fridge in a container, heat and go.  We bought some sub rolls to make sandwiches and I got a 5 blend shredded italian cheese to top it all off.  That'll be lunch.  Breakfast was apple & cinnimon oatmeal and my am snack will be a yogurt.  I'm working on getting more water into me as I've slacked off so likely I'll be peeing all day long too!  Who knows what's in store for dinner either the Chicken gumbo soup I have in the fridge or a salad with some chicken on it if there's any left on the roaster we have cooked in the fridge.

Not quite 3 weeks post op....

 

B- decaf coffee and pills =)

L-refried beans with shredded cheese, salsa and greek yogurt

D- I am baking a ham for incoming family, with the fixings. I think I will puree a little ham into a can of great northern beans for a protein packed meal

S- protein shake

Today is my first day of liquids for my 2 week pre-op so every meal will be chocolate or vanilla Optifast. I did get the chicken soup kind so I might get the nerve up to try it.

Working really hard to get my act together. 

Worked out with the trainer :

warmup  - 24 flights of stairs (4 flights, 3 "versions", 2 rounds) - jog, hop (1 flight every other step, 1 flight every step, etc), sprint

4 rounds of 15 reps ,  4 stations

45lb thrusters, jump pullups, plank jacks, squat jumps

TM to finish - 1min 5.0, 1 min 5.5, 1 min 6.0, walk 3.5 3 minutes for cool down

 

Hot yoga tonight - supposed to be totally different than last Saturday when it was regular yoga, trainer calls this "conditioning" yoga.

B1 - Nik's Mocha Toffee Twist shake

B2 - pumpkin spice waffle w/ peanut butter

 S - post gym - orange cream protein shake made w/ coconu****er

L - prime rib, 1/2 baked potato, salad

S - banana / peanut butter (pre yoga)

D - same as lunch

S - mint cookie protein
