6 weeks after surgery and question...How many of you are measuring food?
I'm 14 months out and still measure! I find when I eye ball it, I tend to guess on the lower end out of fear of over eating, so this way I know I'm not eating too much or too little at meals and snacks. You might be giving yourself too little as well.

You are doing great on your loss! I measure my food when I'm at home but eyeball out when we go out to eat. I didn't lose any all last week and then got on the scale and was down today! I am struggling getting 60 g of protein in per day.

I am almost 6 years out and never measured anything. I just followed my surgeon's guidelines for eyeballing portions and paid attention to how I felt after each bite.
Not losing weight for a week is completely normal and to be expected! Did your surgeon not tell you that there would be weeks where you might not lose anything?!? If so, you should ask him/her why not, because (s)he should be telling patients what to expect post-op!
