Clothes shopping

Have to share...Today I went clothes shopping for the first time since my surgery. It was very weird and kind of great! For the first time in my life I actually thought I looked skinny in the changing room mirror. It was really nice and strange to be able to shop in the regular size area and actually be able to try stuff on and have it fit.

I did that a couple of weeks ago.  It was kind of overwhelming.  I don't remember the last time I shopped in the regular sizes.  I didn't really know what to do.  And I haven't grinned at myself in a fitting room in years.

I've found shopping to be my new transfer addiction from food! lol Thankfully a lot of resale stores around so I didn't spend a fortune. I remember the first time I liked myself in the dressing room mirror! It's a great feeling! Glad you found that joy! Congrats!

I just went on vacation and had to buy a whole new wardorbe.  Had such a great time trying on cloths to see what I felt good in.  And you know what....I felt good in them all.

Doesn't it feel awesome!?  Since the beginning I have been buying stuff at thrift stores and now I am mad because the only stuff that fits me is the size smalls so my options are more limited.  SIZE SMALL!!!!!  Today I am wearing a Talbots Size 8 jeans ($2) and a Land's End shirt size small ($1).  Size small!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Amazing.  Congrats on your skinny changing room moment.  It is my favorite thing about losing weight!
