10 things I didn't know 7 months ago
From my blog this morning:
- It's easier to shave your armpits... when you can see your armpits.
- Same with legs
- Now that I can sit with my legs crossed, it's the only comfortable way.
- I have ribs, hips, knees, and knuckles.
- You don't lose weight all over - it happens first here, then there.
- I have veins on the tops of my feet.
- Sizes on smaller clothing varies a lot more than on larger clothing. I was a 24W consistently for years. But now, in a single trying-on session, I can wear a too-big 12 and a too small 16.
- Tailbones are, quite literally, a pain in the ass.
- There are so many foods I have never tried, simply because they don't serve them at fast food places or fry them.
- Pooping or not pooping can make quite a difference in your weight.
Add to my list! What have you learned?
My journey: http://avabyrd.wordpress.com/
Omg so true...crossing legs or sitting "indian style" is a VICTORY in its self. Just went on a cruise and actually wore a bathing suit...not perfect..but pretty damn good. Walked down the beach hand in hand with my husband feeling very confident as well. Got a stateroom with a bath tub (Im a bath person) this time and as I got into the VERY narrow tub...I said outloud to myself..."I would have never fit in this before...woo hoo". What a gift we gave ourselves right?
When I fall down flat on your back it's alot easier to get up now! Slipped on ice on Mon and then tripped on a cord and down again on Wed.
What can I say I'm a klutz! Plus all your ten. Such a treat to cross my legs! Oh, I can't forget; sitting "in a booth" at restaurants as opposed to a table. love it!
