How long does the Tiredness last

I am three weeks post op tomorrow and am exhausted. How long does this being tired all of the time last? Also how often do you guys weigh yourself? I think I am obsessed as I weigh myself in the evening before bed and in the morning. Lately I have not been losing but say a half a pound to a pound a day. I was losing much more than that before.

Half a pound to a pound a day is very rapid weight loss.  You were losing more than a pund a day before?  Wow.

For the first several months after surgery, I weighed myself every week or two.  Now I don't own a scale.  I get weighed a couple times a year at my doctor's office.

I'm 6 weeks out and still tire very easily. From what I've read, we should start feeling better about 12 weeks out.

I weigh all the time but don't have any expectations when I do. It takes as long as it takes. If you know you aren't over eating ( and how could you), don't stress it.

My surgeon recommended weighing once a week on the same day and at the same time while we were in our losing phase.

I was losing probably 3 pounds a day for a while there in the first week or so after surgery.

I'm losing about .2-.4 lbs a day. 3lbs a day sounds like a ton to me!  I wonder how long the body can keep up losing that fast.

I am also three weeks post op tomorrow! I have lost 11 lbs in those 3 weeks so you are losing faster than I am. From what the experienced peeps say, losing can be very individual. I had several days without losing anything the end of the first week but then it started coming off. The pattern for me right now is about a pound every other day. I know it will come off so I have decided to just have faith and keep on doing what I am supposed to do. I'm not tired at all. Not sure why but grateful for that. Going back to work on Monday. Nice to hear from someone who has the same surgeversary as me!
