Hello All,

I am 4 month out and down 77 pounds. I wanted to post an update, when I reach my first goal of loosing 80 pounds.... with all the ups and downs.

Fast forward to life:

Today I reached I major NSV and hubby thinks I should post it anyway - even if I do not have a picture to proof it!

We were invited to the opening of 1000 Islands Tree Top Adventure Park. Everybody was offered a free adventure course and zip lining. Hubby signed up for it while RVSP-ing. I did not.

When we arrived every invitee signed up for the tour besides me. So hubby encourages me at least try.

I had to go to the office to sign release papers. I asked if I could try on the safety harness before sign the papers, because if the might not fit, then I do not need to sign...... The students working there were looking to me, as if I am crazy.

Needles to say, it fit (with room)!

I completed the kiddy course (see picture for example)!

Hubby is so proud that I completed the course, I am so proud that I dared to wear the safety harness in front of all my colleagues!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!!!  You are just a bit ahead of me, my RNY was 3/15/16, and I have lost 70 lbs.  We are doing good! I am so excited about the new life we have!  It is amazing at how our lives have changed since our loss...and let me tell you, it feels GREAT!  I had an appt at my GP on Tuesday, and she was so excited for me!  She said she wished I could be her "poster child" for having WL surgery...and mainly how it has impacted MY life.  Sooo many things have changed for the better since my surgery...and I now KNOW that I could get on an airplane, and put my seatbelt ON, without any problems!!  AND I could ride the roller coasters...etc.  I can shave my legs, and climb stairs.  Amazing at how my life has changed for the better since surgery.

Again, congrats!  We got this!

That is AMAZING! NSV beat scale victories anytime! I can see why they looked at you like you were a little crazy when you thought it wouldn't fit. You look great!

That's awesome. :) I would totally do something like this, and I would probably have the same ingrained fear about fitting into the harness, lol. I can't wait to be able to to do stuff like this!!

I have that on my list of things to do this summer.  So excited they are finally open.  I'm still waiting to lose a few more pounds before I go.  Sounds like you had a good time!
