Morning Sunday crew!

Weather is still bitterly cold here in Ottawa.

I think we're going to see the new wolverine movie today, so that should be fun. I'm a sucker for all things Marvel.

qotd: this one came to me during my cardio yesterday.

L: leftover chicken satay

D: lamb crépinette we picked up at the butcher shop, probably with braised cabbage.

Good morning,

Its supposed to get to 50 today. It will last for a couple days and get cold again.

I went to the casino last night, i should of cashed out when i got over 100.00 but I didnt.

QOTD I don't listen to music when I work out.

Good morning Menu Friends.. Last nights show was good. Funny story so my husband and I are standing there and one of my daughters vocal coaches comes over to chat with us (she has two one concentrates on her opera type music and the other her Broadway type music.) So we are chatting with her and I have not seen her in a couple of years she looks at me and says who are you and I said Emily's mom I look a little different I have lost little weight she then says oh I did not know if you were Bryon's new wife. We had such a good laugh at that. I get that a lot when I am with my husband people think he either has a new wife or girlfriend. Some people either ask or just stare and wonder.

QOTD: My music variety is so out there. My co-workers like to come into my office to see what is playing on my Pandora because sometimes I am listening to Keith Urban, John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughn or sometimes it 50-60's Rock n Roll or sometimes I am just in the mood for just some old Waylon and Willie. I like a variety but when I am looking to get pumped up 80's Hair Bands are my Jam nothing like a little Bon Jovi to get my going...

Cold again here today but hopefully it will get warmer this week going to spend the day doing laundry and getting lunches and breakfasts ready for the week although I have meetings most of the week at work so that means lunch out. UGH!

Food for the day:

B: Hard boiled egg whites 2 pcs bacon.. decaf coffee and decaf tea

L: leftovers from dinner last night Gumbo without the rice

D: Pork and vegetables

Good morning to all!

Last night was extremely hard for me to get comfortable and actually sleep through the night. I am VERY grumpy and touchy this morning. Going back to bed soon.

QOTD: I've always been a sucker for upbeat music that keeps me wanting to move. The more motivation the better. (Vague I know, but I haven't been to the gym in so long)

anyways probably keeping it simple for "meals" today. I have no appetite and for some strange reason getting up to "make" something doesn't seem appealing or exciting either. Yesterday during meals I made sure to literally get 3 tablespoons of everything I ate, and MAYBE ate half of that. I guess I'll continue doing the same today

B: unsweetened applesauce

s: sugar free jello

L: broth

S: yogurt

D: blended broccoli and cheddar soup (if I am even "kind've" hungry at this point...)

working my hardest to get in 32 ounces of fluids today AND half of a protein shake... both in which make me feel slightly nauseous to think about.

Anyways... hope you all are in much better spirits than I am in today. Have a great day.

I'm 3+ months out and I'm still not hungry, thankfully. At first I could care less about food but after a while I started to enjoy the flavor again. I hope you feel better soon!

I'm 7 weeks out and I also haven't experienced hunger yet. I was nervous of eating at first and found the liquid diet challenging. By the end of it I was so anxious to try new food. Puréed food went well too and I was again anxious to get on to soft food. Now I'm less interested in food. I have to be careful of what I eat- and I find things I could eat easily at 3 weeks out aren't so easy now. It's okay though, it will come. And I've really learned a lot about myself and my food issues.

So far, Loblaws and Produce Depot are the only stores I've noticed it in Ottawa.
