Has your doctor or nut told you that you are losing weight to fast? I'm 3 months out and have surpassed each goal they expected me to be at, in fact I'm 2lbs shy of meeting my 6 month goal already. My nut asked me if I'm eating...... Of course I eat. Is this something I should be worried about? I had them draw more labs as my primary only drew my a1c and all they drew was lipid panel and vitamin k and another lab but I still haven't received the results.

I lost all my excess weight, 120lbs in under 5 months. There is NO benefit to doing this slowly.

Just want to congratulate you :) also your pic looks amazing. If your feeling good, and eating.. then your body is just one of those lucky ones that really drops the lbs. :) Good luck in continueing to goal!

Thank you, unfortunately its a mind game with me. When I look in the mirror I don't see the weight loss even though none of my clothes fit anymore. I can only see it with the before n current photos

You sound like you are doing good to me. I just had my 3 month visit yesterday. My Dr. is happy with my progress. Im down 108 pounds 68 since surgery. I need to take more iron and vitamin D. I guess it depends on the Dr. Good Luck and Have a Merry Christmas.

I hit my goal in 6 months 7 days. From 272 (day of surgery) to 190 six months later. One week I lost 10 pounds!! Men and younger women tend to lose the weight faster. Men have a larger muscle structure, so the weight comes off faster. Also take the same woman at 30 vs 50 or 60. At 30 she can move better and has more energy. So, if you are active and are eating right, it could and should happen!! Enjoy the ride.

Don't do what I did. I kept dropping below my goal...I got down to 187. I started to get afraid that I would become sickly and weak...So I started to eat everything in sight...Including simple carbs. Big mistake. Your body will adjust as you reach your goal...And maybe go below your goal. My doctor set my goal at 190. His surgery partner would have set my goal at 180...I wish I had known that at the time. As long as you do not go below 2% body fat (excluding your excess skin) you should be OK. Brian
