Hi everyone, happy Thursday. So I am taking Friday and Monday off for vacation and I plan on sleeping in, can someone who is up the earliest please do the Menu thread on Friday and Monday, I will be back Tuesday.

Who here has arthritis? I am finding that when it is about to rain (we are getting rain today) my right ankle which I broke twice just pains me so bad. Last night it was so painful I was actually limping. I am just assuming its arthritis as its just in certain problem areas not everywhere. What do you do to manage it and what do you take medication wise?

Accountability: I was so good all day, stayed on my plan and then I got home. I was tired and had a headache and I had banana bread, half a chocolate bar and some Doritos! Can you say bottomless pit? UGH!

QOTD: What would you do if you found a wallet with a $1000 in it that belonged to someone who you really disliked? Keep the money and return the wallet or return it all or return nothing? If I really hated the person I would probably keep the money and throw the wallet out, if I just sorta disliked the person I would give it all back.

Morning! I am up early Friday and happy to start, but not sure about Monday--I would love to think I will sleep in, too, although it's not likely :) Enjoy your time off!

Yesterday was a lovely Valentine's Day! My sweetie took great care of me and we had so much fun. But my accountability was terrible! I ended the day at 1600 calories and over 110 carbs. Yeesh. Back on the wagon, today.

QOTD: I can't really imagine hating anyone (I don't think I have that emotion installed in me) so I can't imagine wanting to hurt anyone that badly. Also, I'm lucky enough that don't think I need the money badly enough to have take it from someone else.

Good morning peeps!

DD, I can do Friday and Monday for you. I have arthritis in all my joints and right now my left knee has been bothering me for a couple weeks. It seemed like every time I had surgery, feet, shoulders..etc. , the first thing my surgeon would say is " well, you have arthritis in that joint...now there was a news flash, lol.

Accountability: Did well yesterday, but had a cup of hot chocolate in the afternoon.

qotd: Ieould return the money, wallet, purse and everything no matter who it belonged to. I would hate to think of someone doing that to me and could not do that to anyone.

Menu: Oikos zero yogurt and granola bar

L and D undetermined because we are going to get our taxes done and are stopping someplace for a belated V Day meal.

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

Enjoy your 4-day weekend, Daisy! Sleeping in sounds heavenly. My dogs don't let me sleep in any more.

Arthritis: Yes, although it is so much better now that I have dropped 140 lbs. I have arthritis in all my joints, but it's worst in my back, neck, knees and fingers. I take Tylenol and when my back flares up I can take Tramadol.

QOTD: I can't think of any person that I hate or even don't like, and even if I did dislike the person, I wouldn't feel right about keeping money that belonged to someone else. Karma would come back to get me. So I would definitely return the wallet and the money to the person.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 92, Calories - 1,200, Carbs - 120

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: Playing scrabble with a friend, I think she's serving sandwiches

D: rib eye steak that I forgot to eat yesterday

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups

E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Good morning! I have some arthritis in my fingers but am very lucky not to have it in any major joints. DD who is not yet 30 has arthritis in her knees and now her foot. The doctor says it started early in her most likely for genetic reasons (she was adopted). She is also probably 80+ pounds overweight which doesn't help.

QOTD: I'd have to return it or I couldn't live with myself. But like JB, I'm not sure I truly hate anyone (I might hate some of the things they do, but I can't think of anyone I totally hate).

1 year, 10.5 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: fish of some sort and veggies

S: Cottage cheese and/or yogurt and/or prosciutto mozzarella stick

The day is here! I'm in pre-op, waiting to be poked and prodded. I was nervous all day yesterday but right now I'm calm (no drugs yet :P)

qotd: if I didn't like the person I'd keep the cash and pretend I never found the wallet. Otherwise I'd return it all.

menu: I might get some ounces of liquid this afternoon/evening
