I'm still amazed by how beautiful Grim's boxes are - really outstanding work.

Did any of you stay up to watch the royal wedding? I did. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! I just really enjoyed watching it all. It seems like every day there is some fresh insult in the news, along with tragedies and trauma. I really needed something densely sweet and tender and beautiful, and that wedding delivered. Now I have Jaguar E-class envy. What a perfect car!

QOTD: I'm really torn! Chicken is versatile, but there's nothing like a good cut of beef. If I had to choose just one, I'd choose chicken, but I'd sorely miss beef!

First: 2 huge mugs of tea

B: ham & smoked gouda

L: chicken salad with cashews

D: meatloaf

Have a beautiful day, my friends!

I watched every second of the wedding (4am EST time). I literally slapped on a fascinator and watched in bed. Poor Grim was not going to be able to sleep though it with all of the oohing and ahhing I was doing over the fashion.

I can just see you watching in the middle of the night, wearing your fascinator! Here coverage started at 1 AM, and before I knew it the sun was up! Do you know where Fergie ended up sitting? She wasn't seated with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who sat with Prince Andrew and the rest of the clan. I guess forgiveness only goes so far, not that I can really blame them, considerong. I absolutely loved everything about this wedding! I say watching the entire thing with a huge smile on my face! Now I want a silvery blue E-series! What a drool-worthy car!

Good morning everyone! I had a much needed mellow weekend with lots of couch and Netflix. I even had a super rare nap yesterday! It will be a super busy week with lots of meetings, events and appts. but I'm ready.

I went to Texas Roadhouse the other night and it would have been a perfect meal--just 6oz of steak on a plate... except that I basically ate my weight in shelled peanuts before the meal came. So damn good!

Even though it rained most of the day on Saturday we had a fun weekend away camping. Going out again this weekend, leaving early Friday. We are supposed to have better weather.

Accountability: Not so hot... I will be better planned this camping trip. So lucky my weight stayed the same.

QOTD: Definitely chicken although I would miss beef.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

I just found myself thinking one of those common negative thoughts that I swore I would never think. "What if this surgery isn't working for me". I have been hovering around 237.5 since Wednesday, that is fine. Then this morning after a small loss yesterday I was up to 238. Bah! I know that I just moved from stage 2 to 3, and that stalls happen but does it have to happen so close to the lowest weight I used to be able to diet down to... Before surgery no matter what I did my weight would start to creep back up right around 235 usually until it got to 245 or so then I would give up. Double Bah!

Qotd: Since eggs or cheese don't count, I would have to say chicken.

Accountability: calories came in lower yesterday because of the ballet. It played havoc with my timing.

BF: 1 scrambled egg, 1/4 cup cottage cheese

MS: 2oz Siggi's yogurt, 1 scoop beneprotein

L: 2 slices deli chicken, 1/2 cheesestick, 1T cauliflower hummus

AS: 2oz refried beans, .5oz Cabot extra low fat cheddar

D: 2oz canned chicken, 1t miracle whip, 1/4 cup sweet potato, 1 laughing cow wedge

Premier protein pudding at some point maybe....
