Good morning all. We've had a cats-traumatizing day already -- a couple of guys were here servicing the boiler, and the cats thought we were being invaded. I have no doubts about their ability to protect us in an emergency. They would disappear immediately.
I had an upper GI yesterday, just as a routine check. After more than 11 years they wanted to check for strictures, adhesions, reflux, etc etc. Everything seemed to be working perfectly, though they haven't released the final report yet. I wasn't having any problems, so I wasn't expecting any issues. But it's nice to know for sure.
QOTD: I had surgery in 2012, and didn't start posting here until about a year later. I had been posting on the MyFitnessPal forums since pretty much my surgery day, but not here. Even back then, those MFP forums were really slow. Laura from Texas was there, and encouraged me to come here. I am SO glad i did. I was never really worried about losing weight. But I was terrified about maintaining. So I was pretty much at my goal weight when I started here in 2013.

Love the meme! I've noticed a lot of women hating on her too. Toxic masculinity applies to women these days too I guess.
so glad it seems the upper GI went well!

Good morning ~ Great pic, my does time fly. Deadlines met, brand new month and room to breathe for a minute. I am hell bent on getting ahead this month and avoiding the month end anxiety. I need to improve my time management and set stronger boundaries, but I cannot turn away anyone that comes to me for help or advise no matter what I'm doing. I'll figure it out. I'm meeting my sister and SIL for lunch and after work I have a couple easy errands to run. It's supposed to rain on and off all day.
QOTD - I started in 2016 a few months before my surgery - 8 years ago. I've beena daily regular except in 2019 when I went dark for about a year and half. The struggle is real.
Accountability - I had 2 extra string cheese and way too many SF Werther's hard candies than was good for my stomach just trying not to eat my lunch at 10am yesterday. It was either anxiety or real hunger - don't know. 186.6 today. Sheila gave me an under the desk foot peddler machine and it's very cool. It has bluetooth and connects to an app and my apple watch. Not step for 'stride' credit on my watch but it's movement. I started doing that yesterday - it's so smooth! I need to adjust my desk a bit more and find the sweet spot, but it's great - thank you so much Sheila!!! I also did yoga for when I got home yesterday and a short session this morning. My low back is feeling great right now.
B- coffee x 4, L&F yogurt
l - Shrimp taco innards and no friggin chips
d - gyro bowls - TJ's gyro meat w/FF feta/olives/pepperoncini/tom/cuke/onion/0%greek yogurt
s - beef jerky
TBD
Have a great day!

I went dark for about the same length of time. The struggle is real. I'm really glad all of you kept this joint going. It's been very important to me.

Good Morning! Everyone ready for Friday-Eve? I spent all day in meetings and then doing some training so today I need to take care of some of my normal stuff.
QOTD: 9 years and counting. The site was listed in my binder from the pre-op class. I wouldn't be where I am without the group here. I still miss some of the regular posters who have come and gone, I still have some on social media and I'm thankful for that.
