I lost weight when I went to the Dr at first. I have gained it all back. Will they refuse to do my surgery when I go for my pre-op this week? Heavens I hope not.
God Bless

When I met with my surgeon, he said he does regularly cancel surgeries for patients who gain weight.

For some surgeons, it might be a scare tactic, others might actually do it.

I think all surgeons are different on this one, and I think it also has to do with how high your weight is when you get started. For me, being right at the 40 BMI, he does not require me to lose weight, but told me not to GAIN any. You are a light-weight anyway, so you might be ok. Just call first so you don't have any last minute surprises!!
