FIVE MONTHS OUT TODAY! YEAH!
Wow how time flies! Its been 5 months today that I got the sleeve. It seems like just yesterday I was wondering if I might die on the table during surgery while I sipped water on my 48 hour fluids plan leading up to surgery. LOL. Well, I made it through and am here to tell you....
I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! To date, I've lost 98 lbs...looking forward joining the century club soon! Without a doubt, this has been the best decision I've ever made for myself. Even this far out, I still read almost every post and usually glean some helpful piece of info. Between the advice and tips I get on this board, support groups (I try and go a couple times a month) and following my surgeon/nut's guidelines, success is achievable!
My journey since surgery has been fairly uneventful - no complications or major stalls thank God - and getting in all my vits, protein and water hasn't been tough. I know that's not been the case for everyone, and when I see those posts from my fellow sleevers, my heart and prayers go out to them.
Best of luck to everyone!
