Hey everybody
I need to know a few things that maybe I should have asked my doctor or just know!!!
Do doctors make their sleeve different sizes???
Do you tell him witch size you want???
OR is that why people go to see different doctors to see what size they make???
OR I just ask stupid questions???
I thought they all take 80% off and I keep reading different sizes  please tell me whats going on because I'm confused!!! or maybe I just can read

THANK YOU

I read about that today....I am curious, too.  It is a question I am going to ask at pre-op appointment.  Or at least email my Doc or the PA on Monday.  I check back to see if anyone has answered your post.

Sublimate maintains a FAQ link. Check out the Bougie Size discussion. There's a couple of other links in there you may find useful.

It is a great question to ask your surgeon. Each one will probably tell you they typically have a standard size.
I asked my surgeon what size prior to surgery and he said I would end up with a 32 bougie. I'm pretty happy with it.

I too, have a 32, but if you google bougie size you will find that they aren't all that different in size. We're talking millimeters here!!!  Think of it this way --  if you hold your fingers apart about a quarter of an inch that's about one centimeter which is 10 millimeters.  The difference in size between a 32 and a 33 bougie is about 1-2 mm's!  That's not much difference.

By the way, bougie is pronounced   "boo-shee"  Also, check out Sublimates FAQ page is really has a lot of information that is great for us newbies.

Also,  remember there are NO stupid questions!!!!   Or as I tell people when they say "can I ask you a stupid question?"   "Sure!  As long as you allow me to give you a stupid answer!!"
