Hi there Sleevers,
I just hit my 4 months out this Sunday... Woo Hoo!!! And was wondering how many calories I should be eating by now? I range from 800-1000. My nut says I should be eating 1200!!!! Thats ALOT for me. I'm getting in 90 grams of protein and all my water.
Just wondering how many calories you're getting in and how far you're out? Feed back is greatly appreciated.

Ignore the NUT. 1,200 seems like way too much. At mainenance, maybe. But not yet.

I was told by my NUT and my surgeon that I should be up to between 1200 and 1400 calories a day by 4 months.  This is with the hopes that I will be more active, and it makes sense to me that I need to feed my body to maintain a high metabolism and keep myself from feeling too tired to work out.

everyone's body is different and so is what your NUT will say.  Just do what's right for you, but remember, if you don't feed your body it won't lose weight for you.. it'll cling to everything and make working out hard on you as well :D  you seem to be doing great so far, keep up the good work.

My plan is for 800 till goal.. then 1200 +/- until I figure out where my maintenance level is..

I regularly get 600-750 a day now with no issues. Protein is 70+.. carbs about 20.

I was told 1200 calories by my NUT, but I've ignored that completely.  I try to stay in the 600-800 range.

The  NUT was shocked at all the weight I had lost (100 lbs post op) at my 6 month appointment.  I had been told that NO ONE loses more than 75 lbs. at 6 months.

Get your protein, keep your carbs and calories low, take your supplements, and enjoy your weight loss!

I had lost 70 some pounds by 3 mths..and 100 by 5 mths..so your nut hasn't seen many people then..lol  Great job at doing so well!

Weird... I lost 100 pounds by the 4 months mark but I guess everyone is different. My nut did say that I was an exception to the norm. He was hoping for 100 pounds by 6 months and 150-160 at a year out. My goal is to have lost 180+ a year out.
