Update: Surgeon wanted more weight loss

So, I've kind of decided to roll with it. I don't think his goal is realistic for what my body is going to do. The scale finally moved again this morning. I'll probably visit my PCP and ask for her to pull labs again just to see as well.

I blogged about it, along with rambling about my tortilla pizza from yesterday. LOL

What the hell is with these doctors lately and telling new-post ops to lose more weight!!??

I really don't think they should be making any comparisons to anything until at least 6 months out , but that's just me. There is so much variation from person to person that I'd like to know what standard they are comparing you too!?

I guess I should be concerned about my weight loss too then.

I dunno, they want 60% excess by 6 months, that's 135 from my surgery date, so I need to lose approx 100 pounds by Christmas to meet his goal. While I'd be estatic if that were to happen, I also need to stay in the real world. I'm working on that :) He wants to see 27 more pounds by 9/21. Hmmm.... I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm sure it is, but I'm going to just go with it. I've never lost weight this fast in my life, much less felt like I was actually going to keep it off. I've not just had surgery, I've been increasing my workouts, changing up my food, taking care of my mind and body and well, my body is kind of in WTF mode, I think. LOL. Can't blame it really...
