calorie intake

my doctor recommended consuming 1000 calories a day. what has your doctor told you to do?
im 5 mos out i just want to make sure im getting enough and not too many calories

At 5 months/lifetime my surgeon recommended 800 to 1000 calories for female patients.

 600 until goal is met.
HW 263, 3lbs lost prior to surgery,  weight loss ticker is since surgery.

600 cal until goal may be a bit too few IMO. Are you working out? if so, that may be dangerous for you. Are you able to get in enough protein with 600 calls? What about carbs?? Just curious:)

 Mine surgeon has me at 650 calories a day and I'm 3 months out.

I'm not sure I could consume 1000 calories if I wanted to. I guess I'll have to figure that out when I get to maintenance.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

I told my doctor I was eating 8-900 cal/day and she said that's fine given my activity level.

Im at 800-1000 a day, 1100 if I work out. 90-100 of protein. less than 30 carbs. Someone told me not to be too concerned with calories at this point but to focus on protein and limiting carbs. If you limit carbs, you will lose. Just my opinion!!

700 until goal is met and then 1200 to maintain weight.

just want to ask a few more things, what are you eating to only get in 650 calories? how do you manage to only get 30 carbs a day? i watch my cal and carbs or i try to. most days i eat


b) 3oz chicken or sliced turkey
s) string cheese
L) 3oz tuna
s) protein shake
d) 3 oz chicken or fish

thats what i eat most days if anyone has advise on what i can do better that woud be great
i have had one 6 week stall and just getting over a 1 week stall so i just want to make sure im doing this right. i have lost alot which is great, but i still have quite a bit to lose worried it wont come off
