I'm sure someone has posted this before, but I'd never seen it and wish I'd found it before I submitted the appeal for my insurance denial.

My insurance limits coverage to one institution, and the only surgeon there who was doing sleeves at the time of my surgery had done 8.  Not.

If you look at Jossart/Cirangle article, they describe the evolution of their technique, how they adjusted the procedure to increase success and reduce complications.  This highlights to me why all of us getting the sleeve should look for a surgeon with demonstrated success.

This is one of the reasons I choose Cirangle as my surgeon.  He puts a lot of effort into his technique of reshaping the stomach - he'll tell you about how he attempts to reform the stomach with a natural curvature to prevent kinks and blockages from happening.  He really puts a lot of research into his surgery.  I cannot recommend him enough.
