Hi, I would love to talk to some people who has had the VSG....I am waiting for approval from my ins. and hoping to have VSG, but I do not now anyone personally who has had the surgery and would to hear your storys... thanks ..... :)

There are hundreds of people here who have had the VSG. The best way to get to know people is hang around here often and read a lot of threads. There are lots of interesting people here :)

Some people have their stories listed on their profiles so you can click on particular users and read up about them.

You are in the right place if you want to talk to people who had the surgery. Everyone on here is wonderful. They helped me make my decision to get the surgery and still help me whenever I have questions. By far the best thing I have ever done

I'm only 10 (almost 11) weeks out and things are FANTASTIC!!!

Tomorrow is week 7 for me. I have lost 29.6 lbs (a little on the slow side). Went to the NUT (nutritionist) a week ago and she has me trying new things. Definitly recommend working with one. I am glad I chose this journey and that I found this site. You get a lot of advice and a lot of help. Feel freind to friend me if you want. If you want to chat more personally, let me know I'd be glad to chat. I don't know anyone personally either, so chatting online here has been a big help for me.

Thank you all for you comments....I have been on this site for a couple years....i have already been thru all of the testing n everything but my ex husbands ins. required a test i couldnt get before my time had ran out ...so now im starting over...im divorced and finished with everything now im waiting my approval!!!!! im sooooo ready to start my life!!!!
