My trip to the OH Conference... IS BACK ON BABY!!!

WOO-HOOOO!!!! I can't even begin to tell you all how depressed I've been since my husband was laid off last week. We had the OH Conference all planned out, mostly paid for and I had been looking forward to going since it was first announced.

My husband, while there are no guarantees, has a pretty good looking job prospect. In fact, we probably won't even know if he got the position before we leave for the conference... but we talked and decided to go ahead and take the leap of faith and go. It's also our 10th wedding anniversary on that Friday and we are celebrating our daughter's 6th b-day at Disneyland while we are there. She asked us if she skipped a bday party, could she go to Disney.... of course she asked long ago, before we had any idea department cutbacks were going to happen.

We will be far more conservative on our spending than we had planned... but I am so thankful that we planned we enough in advance to be able to make it happen!

Can't wait to meet everyone who is attending! :)

Goood for you. I am so glad that y'all decided to go. I would have been depressed if that had happened to me. I can't go this year but I plan on going next year.

Great news! The weather is lovely here in Orange County with warm days and cool nights (bring sweaters or jackets). Just beautiful autumn weather. Hope you will enjoy your visit!
