Good options for eating out?
breakfast...order an egg or yogurt
lunch - fast food - eat the chicken out a grilled snack wrap from McDonalds of get a grilled chicken sandwich and eat some of the meat
dinner - olive garden has appetizer portions of grilled chicken skewers, fish is always a good option, grilled chicken breast, broth based soup, you could probably also ask for a scrambled/poached egg at any full service restaurant

I've been out to eat a number of time and haven't had any issue with finding sleeve-friendly options. I do avoid fast food restaurants and stick to local places, since they tend to have better options (but I did this pre-op as well).
If you know where you're going, you can check out local restaurants on Urban Spoon (or other site) and find menus online so you can plan before you go.

McDonalds- I order a side salad, add a grilled chicken breast, and an order of apple slices. Apple goes on the salad, light vinegrette... the entire thing is under 150 cals and lots of protein.
Wendys- small chili, hold the crackers
Most any place, grilled chicken sandwich, hold the bun and the dressing
I don't do fast food often, but if you are careful there are options.

You can stay on plan at just about any restaurant. Order appetizers that are protein (non-breaded, non-fried) based to save some money. Skip the starcy sides. Green veggies can be deceiving... green beans at some places can pack a couple hundred calories per serving. Check the websites and scan the nutrition labels.

There is a steakhouse called Texas Roadhouse that will let you order off kids menu if you let them know it is due to surgery. Which is nice cause they have steak bites or grilled chicken. If you run into one of them.
