A New Sensation

I've always scoffed at those people (normally stick thin) who would intone in a sing-songy voice "I don't understand...I just forget to eat sometimes."

In my heaviest days, and pretty much any other time of my life pre-sleeve, I never, ever, EVER forgot to eat. That's like forgetting to go to the bathroom. Forgetting how to drive a car. Forgetting to sleep.

Lately? I'm forgetting to eat.  I've downloaded that bariatric timer app to help with times between eating and drinking.  Do I need to just put timers on my phone throughout the day?

even in maintenance i sometimes forget to eat. the lunch i take to work goes untouched.  i wouldn't worry too much unless you are not getting enough protein.   fun to be free of food tyranny.   diane

Thanks, Diane.  I'm getting at least 60 most days so I think I'm okay.  It's good to hear from a long-termer that I am not sabatoging myself!

I'm pre-op and I forget to eat quite often. Sometimes I get so busy I glance up at the clock and realize it's almost dinner and I haven't eaten all day. Then I have days when I can't stop eating!
