so, i had the sleeve done about 4 years ago.  i lost about 140 pounds the first year.  the second year i gained back about 45 pounds, i was still happy with my weight loss but i felt fat again.  for whatever reason i started losing weight again the last year or so.  and i have kept it off, in fact i am almost to onederland and i haven't seen that number in years.  i'm telling you this because-for all you newbies-you will gain weight back but when your body adjusts to the sleeve and the weight loss you can and will lose it again!! hang in there, don't give up.  we can do it together!

I'm so glad you're happy and losing again. While it's certainly not inevitable, most people do regain some weight in that second year, so you aren't alone. I've seen hudreds of examples.

But you are the very first I've seen that seems to think they lost the regain by magic -- "for whatever reason I started losing weight again." Everyone else struggles, hard, to get that regain off. Many never do. And the reason some lose is because they fight hard to cut back on their eating. There is nothing magic about it.

Keep working. Good for you.
