It's a funny thing not to be scared of the camera anymore.

First this was me (bad quality picture, but me) in July 2011. This was my "Oh crap, I need to do something" picture. I lost 90lbs with diet and exercise in the next several months but gained about 40lbs of it back eventually (actually, more than once gained that much back!).

The next picture is of me last night. I'm currently down 98lbs from the above picture and 44lbs since pre-op diet started 12 weeks ago.

Finally, the last picture shows my 2011 pants (size 22) underneath the pants I bought last night (juniors 11). I think this picture says the most!

Awesome pics, especially the jeans!

I was looking at my pre-op jeans last night and thinking "you know, after plastics, I bet that Lance and I could fit in these at the same time!" (Lance = my partner.)

I keep this one pair around as a reminder of where I don't want to go back to. I remember buying them after having kid #2 and thinking "I won't be in a 22 long, it's just baby weight". Well I was still wearing them 2+ years later!

I put them on last night and was able to put my arms down the sides and crawl inside them almost to my shoulders. It's funny how since I had kids I've been saying that I can't find jeans to fit because I'm bigger around the waist than my legs (which is true), but it was so obvious while I was bigger. I can't wait to get to the point of plastics, as I've been wanting this belly skin to be gone since...2011!

We can trick ourselves into thinking we're still huge when looking at our body. So I think its' great way to see the truth!
