Hello all- I have 2 tattoos. They are currently in places that are easily covered by clothing as I work within the medical field. Honestly I will probably add additional work to at least one of my tattoos. I feel they are just another way to express ourselves- for most people! My mother is completely against it and says "what will you do when you need someone to care for you?"- I told her by then the doctor will probably have a tattoo on his face? I may question the picture of a celebrity or something else silly tattooed smack dab on someone's butt- yet it's their body and hopefully it means something to them- lol!

Good evening, all! Super busy day at work today...such a Monday! We got about 1/4" of ice this weekend, had to chip it off the windshield this morning. Luckily it warmed up and with the sunny day melted off by the time I left for home.

Had my first DEXA scan today. Results are that I have osteopenia in the femoral neck (top of the hip bone) in both hips. Nothing to worry about yet, but we'll see what another year of daily calcium/vit D does for it!

QOTD: I don't have any, used to despise them, but have grown to appreciate them as I get older. My 2 younger sisters and I have considered getting matching sister tattoos...probably will one day soon!

B: Yogurt w/crunchy peanut butter and Fiber one, coffee w/cream and xylitol

L: Turkey snack sticks, Swirls cheese sticks and zucchini slices

D: Smoked pulled pork, chopped broccoli w/butter and more coffee w/cream and xylitol

Water and vites on track

E: Walking

Hi all! I just got home from the prison. It was really nice out, so we were able to do our breathing exercises outside. The air smelled like fresh cut pine and there was a gentle breeze. It was a rare lovely moment at the prison and it left me feeling so content on the drive home.

QOTD: Oh yeah, I've got 8. The tree of life on my wrist, music notes on the other wrist, a quote from each of my parents written in their handwriting on each arm. My son's footprints on my foot, a buttercup behind my ear (my daughter's nickname), a snowflake (my family's symbol), and a pretty huge elephant face on my upper back (which ties in perfectly with yesterday's QOTD!!). Liz, I love the idea for honoring your daughter, that's beautiful.

B - protein shake

L - shredded chicken and cheddar

D - Half BLT on wheat
