Perspective
Two years ago I met up with these two gentlemen, a father and son from France. The father knew of me from my profession. The son is local, and a friend of a friend. They came to visit a little while before I began my bariatric voyage.
They came again today to visit, with me being 18+ months out. I am thinner. They are not. There was a lot of joking around about that. I'll take it.
