I have heard places down south have year round farmer's markets - drool!!!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

-not in maintenance-

Whenever I eliminate fruit, I want cookies and cake.  Try half a serving at a time to see how you feel.

I try to have one serving of fruit a day. Some days I have two and some days none though.

I am not in maintenance (six months out) but I will admit I have been eating fruit since about four months out.

I eat mainly berries and the occaisonal apple.  I do not eat bananas, mangos, peaches, or other "higher" sugar fruits.  I pretty much also always eat them as a small portion with some protein (cheese with the apple, or greek yogurt/berries).  I do not eat fruit "alone".

It has not affected my weight loss or "cravings" so to speak.  If I felt it did....it would be gone.

Also...just to add I'm 34 and male so I'm not sure much would affect my weight loss at this stage of the game.....as I get closer to goal I will see what happens and adjust accordingly.

I eat small amounts of fruit, usually blended in my shakes...with it being summer, I have also had a couple bites of fruit salad...I love watermelon...

I was a huge fruit eater before surgery, but unfortunately, now I really can't eat much of it, it does something weird to my belly, makes me full very fast, I guess, the water content makes it feel weird.
In shakes, it is fine.

I also add spinach to my shake, it is awesome, no bad flavor and more nutrients...I also used to do kale in my shakes...but I will warn everyone, it is gritty and does make the shake  taste different...I was not a fan of the kale added in...although I sacrificed taste for awhile, back when I was vegan for a short time pre-surgery, because kale is so darn healthy for our bodies....
