Happy Labor day all!

176 today, which seems a bit unfair as I've done massive exercise this weekend... 77 miles on Saturday and 60 today.  I'm sure it's water, as I needed to consume a bunch o'carbs to do the rides.  So we'll see it come down this week.  We had a nice pause in the heat here - today it was 50-60 degrees during our ride, which really helped as the group was really pushing the speed.  We also did a few hours of yard work, clearing wild grape vines and such that were encroaching on our patio... back in to the 90s this week.

152.2 - I'm surprised it wasn't more

The football game was fun. I'm glad we went. I've forgotten how different college games are compared to professional games. LOTS more alcohol. Wow.

I'm off the scale for a awhile. The bathroom regrouting is taking longer than we thought, so we have been relegated to a smaller bathroom.

You all have wonderful rest of your day!

157.6

Down 1.5 from yesterday. LOL, the swings amuse me. The swelling in my back has gone WAY down though. Whew. I'm comfortable (well, more comfortable) but still over my red line. But I figure with back surgery, I get a small pass, I'm not gaining huge amounts of weight, so this is okay for now. As inactive as I am... plus I have days where I eat next to nothing that isn't a pain pill and days I eat crap. I'm working on it.

The kind of weird part is that I have to take a Tums with my Percoset, I get HORRIBLE reflux. It works 1/4 of the time, the rest I have to find some thick crusty bread to knock it the rest of the way out. It's the only other thing I've found, not even crackers work.

I'm open to suggestions because it's BAD. And I try to avoid bread all together.

Ask your doc if you can take Ondansetron - tiny pill and it works wonders for me.
