Happy Saturday Fam!  Carbon I'm sending good energy your way today. And a big squishy hug.

I'm at 114. Food and drink choices have been meh. Not terrible but certainly not good either. Today we head back to Alberta. Gave Bailee his last sedative and I will be riding in the truck to support him so hopefully he gets through without too much stress today. For those of you not connected to me on FB, bluebird i****ching a ride.

Tonight we're invited to a private music concert by the visiting from LA boyfriend of our tenant. It's been a music filled house while we've been away.  Lovely people we've become very friendly with so it will be nice to visit this evening.

All the best

Do you usually ride in the RV rather than in the truck?  Or maybe on Violet?

Greetings Gifted Guys and Gals

Carbon so sorry you had a bad day. What is it about stress that makes us eat? Why are we different from those people who can't eat a bite if they are stressed? Anyway, that was yesterday and everyday we get a restart. Too bad there is not a service that will, on ten minutes notice, bring you a warm puppy to cuddle for an hour.  Of course, we have a puppy but half the time I am digging sticks out of her mouth and cleaning up her accidents.

Up a half to 130.5. Too much time sitting on butt at gallery selling very little and then more butt sitting while glazing art pieces. That will change today. Its sunny and a good day for walking. Tesla likes to go fast now.

What will I do when the olympics are over?  Have to go back to watching old Twilight Zone episodes or exploding alien shows that DH likes.

Hang in there everyone.  Diane S

Hey, I tried your turkey pepperoni on Devon's cloud bread with a dollop of pizza sauce and sprinkle of cheese.  It was a delightful change of pace!  I agree, the turkey pepperoni is better than traditional.

I've been trying to think of a pizza alternative!  And have been wanting to try cloud bread.  Bingo!!!

Sending lots of positive energy out to all facing challenges. Did some of that while in my pool, for the first time in two months !!

So glad you got to go in the pool! Wonderful!!!! I have been thinking of you this week as I prepare for yet another school week. It is only 13.5 weeks until December. Not sure what your slated day is, but boy I bet you're looking forward to your retired life!

PS - Why did edubabble start calling them Anchor Charts? I am not a fan of edubabble and can we talk about the acronyms?!?!?!?! LOL!

Busy day today. Out of the house shortly after 8:00 am to go to an Airedale Fun Day. And FUN it was. Blue's team with Blue herself as the "anchor dog" won the underwear relay race and she also single handedly won the Nose Knows event (basically who can find the cheese in the three bowls faster than anyone else.) Many got a kick out of the fact that the dogs who place 1,2 and 3 in the Nose Knows event were all bred by me. Hehehe. I guess my dogs are gluttonous, too! LOL! Blue, Ace, Ron and I had a great time. We left Lucy and the two older dogs at home.

Weight was the same today as yesterday.

HUGE NSV (at least IMHO): At the pot luck lunch today I ate some baked chicken breast, a pork rib cooked by me (no sauce, btw), and a few bites of salad and two strawberries. Pretty good considering all the carb laden salads that were on the table - rice salads, noodle salads, pasta salads, but only 2 lettuce type salads. I had a bit of the kale salad (I think it was the Costco stuff, which I like very much).

The dessert table was laden with chocolate chip cookies, Aussie Bites, Blueberry Cheesecake, fresh fruit with sour cream or yogurt dip, strawberry pie casserole (odd looking, but apparently FABULOUS as I was told again and again by those who kept urging me to have some), chocolate croissants and doughnut holes. I kept reminding myself how proud I would be of myself when I made it all the way through the day making the choice to NOT EAT those dessert foods. And proud of myself I am! "Free Food" events like potlucks are some of the most difficult situations for me to navigate successfully. To celebrate today's success, I'm going to take a short nap. Ah.... the sweet life - a nap!!!
