My sleeve was done yesterday at 9am and everything went wonderfully. I was never in major pain- just some discomfort that felt like gas and some burning at incision sites but it all has been going much better than I even hoped. I am very gassy. Almost every sip I take needs a belch after but thats okay. I don't care if I'm gross. I slept most of the day yesterday but when the anesthesia and stuff wore off and I was finally alert I was much better and walked up and down the hall. I did this blue ice test which shows if my sleeve is leaking into the drain I had- and that was fine so I got to start liquids and I first ate the best orange popsicle in the world. After that just hung out- watched tv and movies and slept and drank and peed and played on my phone. Now that I'm home I took a shower and feel great and may watch a movie with the husband. The kids are all at the in-laws for the weekend and all I have to do is recuperate!I am grateful for the whole journey and I plan to make the best of this new start for my body and soul!
