Three Month Post Op Update

I am doing good. In good spirits even with the stricture still lingering and causing discomfort. My husband took some pictures today and I could finally tell a difference in my body three months out. I am happy because I was beginning to think that self perception was light years behind the actual weight on the scale. I could see the numbers changing and the inches coming off and people would tell me that I look great but my self image was still that of a 220 pound girl.

Sex is starting to get better. I can see my vagina lol I know that's probably too much info lol but hey its the little victories that matter. haha

I feel like my brain is catching up to my body a bit and that is a really good feeling. All I really want is confidence. I have known some people in my life time that were heavy, but soooooo confident that you couldn't even tell. I want to be like that. To just walk into a room and own it, command to be seen instead of trying to be invisible. All of this will take time but today seeing those pictures being able to notice the change, that was my first step towards confidence.

I look forward to all of the other steps toward victory I will be taking.
