Drain still in

won't be coming out until next Thursday.   Went for a cat scan this morning, had to swallow about 2 cups or a little more of barium for contrast.  That was fun. LOL.   Then went back to see Dr. Schumacher and he said that the abscess is really reduced in size and that it is mostly full of drain right now but that we would wait until next Thursday to take out the drain to be on the safe side.  took me off the horse pills Augmentin and am now on liquid Amoxicillin for five days. 
Today he said I could eat anything I wanted fresh veggies , meat , fish, etc.  As long as I could keep it down. Experiment, Experiment, Experiment.   Told me to stick with fresh foods, stay away from pre-packaged foods with chemicals and additives.   Sounds like good advice to me.   Joe and I went to El toro for lunch and he ordered a combo plate with a bean burrito, a chicken enchilada and chile con queso.   I had about a tablespoon of each.
Now I am going downstairs, crawl into my recliner with a good book and a bottle of water.   Maybe when the sun goes down we'll go outside and get some yard work done.
