Dr's goal
on October 20, 2012 3:42 am
So at the last Dr. appt I had, I asked what their goal for me was. (weight) The nurse practitioner said that they wanted to see me at 180lbs. I have no other medical issues so they thought this was a good goal. Which means I only have 15lbs to go!! woo hoo!! lol, Not really. I want to be at least 160lbs. Which is 35 more lbs. It seems like such a small number compared to where I started.  When I started this I was telling myself that I needed to lose about 140lbs. It seemed impossible. I can't believe how far I have come. I'm feeling pretty good about my journey.

Well I didn't make it to  my goal to be under 200lbs. I am at a stall. I can't get past 205  I have been ramping up my exercise though. Hope fully I will get there in the next couple weeks. its only 5 pounds right? lol, I haven't really changed my diet because I am eating the things I should. Wish me luck! I did fit into a size 16 jeans though. That was super exciting.

Good Morning!
on July 15, 2012 6:33 am

Another morning, another protein drink.  Yes, I am going to complain about it. NONE of them taste good enough to look forward to it. Only some are less icky than others. But you do what you have to do, right? I am so close to being under 200lbs and I know my protein intake is going to help me get there. (I weighed this morning 209lbs woo hoo!)
I really think I can do this. I have been steadily losing weight for several months now. I had a set back awhile ago and I had to have two discs replaced in my neck. I have to admit that prior to the surgery I was in pain and I didn't exercise and didn't watch my diet.  I gained 15lbs in about 3 months.
The recovery after my neck surgery was not as long as I had expected and I was able to get back on track fairly soon. I was super excited about not having the pain in my neck and the shooting pain/numbness down my right arm. I could barely hold a pen to write. Now I have just about recovered all my strength and doing great.!  I have lost nearly 30lbs since then.
I have about 60lbs to go. I am confident I can meet my goal!
