Hit a goal! Under 400!

16 days out, and I have lost 19 pounds since surgery,  Feeling pretty good.  My doc said I am doing great.  He said he was worried about me, but I did better than any of his other patients. Stupid me, I asked why and he said my weight just made it more complicated, and he though I would have more trouble with recovery.  I appreciated his honesty, but I.m glad he did not elaborate before surgery.  I did not expect any problems, and the good Lord just blessed me through it all!  
Doc said my incision that is infected is only superficial and to just keep putting the antibiotic cream on it. 

I  am most happy to be under 400 pounds!  I have felt so much shame for letting my weight get so out of hand. Getting to the 300 is my third goal I have reached. 1st was losing 50 pounds before surgery.  2nd was to be able to comfortably wear some other shoe beside Crocs.  I had reached a point I could not wear anything else because my feet would swell so bad.  Today, I had a funny NSV- I had a job interview, and I was wearing a dress and girlie sandals.  The sandals that were too tight a month or so ago are now too big.  They kept falling off when I picked up my feet.   I was trying to impress the team who interviewed me, and I was walking like I was drunk. LOL!  After my interview, I had to take off my hose, so I could grip a little better and finish the other errands I had to do.  Good day all in all!
