Food = Fuel

If a baby is crying for a bottle I wouldn't deny that child a bottle, why would I deny myself food?  Food = Fuel

Now don't forget to eat. This is a problem I have sometimes once I start loosing I think less food is better right? NOT!  I am slowly over coming this. Eating three meals a day and getting those boosting snacks in. I'm so used to that old "feeling hungry is feeling good". Then you have to get over the guilt of eating. I have to figure out if I am thirsty or not...then I have to figure out if it is food that I want. I have actually set alarms on my phone so I can remember to eat. My body is loving me for it too!  I'm staying under my calorie goals and eating well. It's amazing! I also notice when I'm eating right I'm feeling good over all. I'm also starting to wake up hungry, recognizing when I'm full. It's great!

When you go to put fuel in your car you wouldn't let it keep pumping watching the fuel run out onto the ground causing an explosion hazard? So why do that to your body and over stretch that stomach? Food = Fuel

Comfort isn't found in the refrigerator. Look for it in you and your family.

I have many times over ate. I'm a recovering binge eater. I wrote a letter to my binge eating letting it know who was boss and that I didn't need it or want it anymore. Through that and therapy figuring out some of the triggers and different ways of dealing with it, I am a recovering Binge Eater. Woohoo...

Figure out your triggers and limit your exposure or find another way to deal with it. Exercise is a great stress reliever.

Take 20 - Cravings typically last 20 minutes so when you have a craving find something to occupy your time for 20 minutes and then after 20 minutes are over and you still crave that item, allow yourself to have a small portion. Moderation is Key

Log your food and make sure your meals are balanced.  I use Fitday.com but there are a ton of food logging sites out there.

Stop working on it, Just do it!
