My story starts like so many others I have read on this board, I have always been big and struggled with my weight.  With each baby I have carried, I have gained weight and it just latched on for life!  I have had three childred and found myself hitting my heighest weight, one I never ever thought I would: 312 lbs.  I started the process for weight loss surgery, for a second time.  But this time I really progressed.  I did the six months of NUT and Trainer time required by Tricare and my husband and I agreed no more babies so I did it.  I lost 32 lbs and the day of surgery I weighed in at 288.  So here I go on this journey and I have high hops for success!

Super Sore!
on January 10, 2012 11:17 am
Yesterday was a day of rest.

Today 10th Jan.  I did a 15:15 mile...working down to a 12 min mile.  Did a extra lap.  My legs are soooo sore from the squats but I did it.  I forgot my 20 sit ups and push ups yesterday so today I did 40 and 40.  30 overhead press with a 10lb weight.  Working on my bat wings : )

Death by squats!
on January 8, 2012 5:43 am
Workout of the day:

1st min = 1 squat
2nd min = 2 squats
3rd min= 3 squats
and so on and so forth until you can't complete your rep within the one minute time frame.  I made it to 14 min which is 105 squats!  and then my legs turned to jello.  I use a slight modified squat because I am still developing lower leg strength.  I squat down to a 90 degree angle on a stack of weights and a medicine ball.  I started on a step riser and I have gradually gone lower until I hit the 90 degree.  Once  I improve on that I will do the squats with nothing.

Needless to say today I wish I didn't have a two story house!

Cardio day
on January 8, 2012 2:58 am
I took a break when I wasn't scheduled too...opted to hang with the husband and watch a movie.

So Saturday January 7 was Cardio

So I went back to the 1 mile of treadmill and 1 mile of rowing same formula as before.  Not to mention my husband started doing 100 push ups and 100 situps  so he suggested I do 20 sit ups and 20 push ups everyday...so we will see how long I last!
