Had my Endoscopy yesterday. It was a piece of cake. Now I have to wait 3 1/2 weeks til my next preop testing appointment, hopefully the time will pass quickly. :)

I went to the Staple Club last night. Got to meet quite a few of the nice ladies in this area and some newbies who are getting ready for surgery. I really enjoyed the group. I hope to be able to continue with the group around my work schedule etc. I think it will be a great help. I only have like 7 more weeks til surgery. Time is really flying. :)

I talked to the rest of my immediate family today. Everyone seems to be supportive and very impressed with my research and knowledge. I am so relieved that I didn't have the opposition that I was anticipating. Been reading on the message boards and getting lots of great information. I am excited. :)

Well the majority of my immediate family knows of my decision now. I was so scared to tell everyone because I thought I would get negative responses but it was ok. I know that some of them disagree but they are willing to support my decision and that it the important part. :)

Well after a lot of research, thought and prayer I have decided to have gastric bypass surgery.  I have had my consult with the doctor, received my approval and have my surgery date scheduled.  November 30th is my big day.  I am so excited, nervous, scared, etc.  :)
