I’ve found it really difficult to eat anything fibrous. Spinach, cabbage, and most vegetables just make me feel terrible.

so today I tried “Fybogel”. It’s solvable fibre that you take in a drink.

I take my vitamins in the morning:

2xMultivitamin

1xCalcium

I also take 1xcalcium at night.

The only Iron I Get is in the multivitamins, so, is my morning calcium useless (since I’ve been taking it

So I bought the ingredients for a fruit smoothie. I was gonna try:

1/2 an avacado

100ml Coconut Milk

handful frozen berries

1/2 - 1 tsp manuka honey

Any T2’s tried smoothies? I’m slightly

Prior to surgery, I’d used B12 supplements to help wit mood/depression. I stopped taking it about 2 months ago after speaking with my surgeon.

Does anyone here supppement with B12? Is there any reason not to after surgery?

So I’m one week into my 2 weeks smooth liquid only phase. So far so good.

What principles should I be following as a T2 Diabetic? I’ve had a couple of meal replacement shakes, but those feel kind of high in sugar to me...

Hi!

So after lots of thought, I finally had gastric bypass surgery last Wednesday in an attempt to regain some control over my T2 Diabetes.

This feels like a great community and I look forward to learning lots from you all.
