Lena, Just wondering how you are doing. I also had surgery on 5/29/03 and am doing good so far. When you get a chance, come on and update a bit so we will all know how you are.

Hi everyone! I heard from Lena's husband tonight. She is doing good after her surgery yesterday. They were supposed to move her out of ICU tonight and into a room and plan on sending her home Saturday. Her husband said that her spirits were up!

Hi everyone! I spoke with Lena's surgeon this evening and he said that she came through the surgery fine. They have her in ICU because she has asthma and they want to watch her breathing. I plan on visiting her Friday afternoon so will post more then.

Lena, I hope all went well today. I am waiting insurance approval. I am scheduled for RNY on June 19th 2002. I live in Pasadena Md. Hopefully we can meet. I have gone to 2 of N. Arundel Hospitals Support Group Meetings. I want to try to go to the group at St. Agnes Hospital. My surgery is to be at the University of Md. Hospital in Baltimore. My doctor is Barbara Bass. She is wonderful. My husband and I met with her on May 7th, for over an hour.
