I have a date!!!!!!January 13, 03. It's pushed out further than I'd hoped, but that's okay. I guess I should be happy that I get to enjoy the holidays this year & will be well healed & be able to enjoy them again next year.

I feel your pain, Terri on a somewhat lesser level. I once broke up with a man in a very callous and unfeeling way. When it happened to me a few years later, I understood the man's despair and vowed I would never do it again. Best wishes to you.

Hi terrie , Good luck on the last appeal,Ihope you can pull it off. But f you cant there are options available. For example , I just had surgery in spain as a self pay. I had the duodenal switch. And Dr. Baltasar is 1st rate.total cost of surgery 11500 if you go open and I think 14000 lap. airfarefor me was 500 a ticket. There is a group on yahoo of americans who have gone to or are interested in going to spain. Just remember this is your life as far as we know we only get one. Laura wilkins DS May27 -30 lbs

Terri, I pray that you will soon hear some good news. I know how you feel because I am waiting to hear from my appeal. I pray that both of us will soon hear those 3 little words - YOU ARE APPROVED. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

TERRI~~May you always have an Angel by your side. Watching out for you in all the things you do. Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days. Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to come true. Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun. Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide. May you always have love and comfort and courage.

Hi Terri, I read your post today and I just feel so much compassion for you.I too am so tired of hurting,my hip stays numb and the pain in the tops of my feet prevent me from walking very far without holding on to someone or something.i'm almost 49yrs old, I have 3 beautiful grandchildren who I'd love to be able to really get outside and play with.My surgery is june 18th and yes I'm alittle anxious about it ,but I know it's what I have to do if I want to live and see my grandchildren grow up.Terri, you and I are still quite young{although I don't feel too young}We have alot of good yrs ahead of us.I pray you have your surgery soon and that God will guide the surgeons hands and give you a speedy recovery and NOOOOOO complications.Lots of love going your way.Love in Christ,Lora Lee
