I just got off the phone with Mary and she sounds great! The doctor thought she was going to have to have and open surgery due to the fact her liver was "huge". She was put on a liquid diet for this week and it paid off... she had a lap! I'll be going down to San Diego to see her tomorrow and will post another update when I get home.
