Hi Mary... I live in Cleveland, TX.. I had my VBG with Dr. Harberg in Houston tho.. I had my surgery on the 12th of April this year, since the surgery I have lost 85 lbs.. I have not had any problems at all. I can eat anything I want, just not alot! If ever want to talk email me at [email protected] and I will send my phone number to ya.. We also have group meetings through www.onelist.com group named HWLSSG ( Houston Weight Loss Surgery Support Group) Its a online board and a monthly meeting in Houston. The monthly meeting are on the first Sunday of each month from 3-5pm.. Good Luck and God Bless

11/29/01 Well, I have passed all of my tests and am ready for this to be over. My Daughter-in-law had her Open RNY yesterday and is doing very well. I know she will be glad to get back home. We wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and let you know that you are all in our prayers too !

Hey Mary, your surgery is only a few days before mine (Dec. 11th). I will be praying for you! I like it when I find someone who is having the same surgery I am (open VBG) because we sure seem to be in the minority!! LOL!! Good luck to you!!!
