Hi Mike! I saw you at the support group on 5/22, I just wanted to wish you great success, an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. You'll be on the losing side a few days before me,and I know it's an exciting time! So sit back and enjoy the triple loop on the roller coaster that is WLS! Hi AMOS Family! Next Week is my friend Mike's surgery! (5/29)He will be having an Open BPD/DS with Dr. McConnell here in Portland @ Oregon Health & Sciences University Hospital! He is getting very excited and nervous. I would love it if our friends out there could please help ease him with your wonderful words of encouragement! Thank You! ^i^

Hello Mike, I had lap RNY at UCLA on May 10th, no problem, I of course I was nervous 6'1 425) but they were great, very little pain, I camr home in 5 days. My diabetes is already improving. Good luck, you'll do great!
