So nice to see someone's surgery move UP instead of BACK! One less day of anxiety. May God watch over you and carry you into a new life filled with adventure and living. This is an incredible opportunity we have been given. Make it work for you. Linda Tyler (3-11-03)

Karen, I'm about 3 months out and 60 years old and I've had no problems at all. My daughter had surgery at the end of May; its nice to have someone to watch how they do first hand. Good luck with your surgery and remember to: walk, walk, walk, cough, cough, cough!

Karen, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. As you know, our profiles provide a lifeline to others embarking on this journey. You never know who you might inspire! p.s. I just love your daughter, she's such a great lady!

Karen, Even though we have yet to meet you, your daughter keeps us in stitches many times. I wish you all the best with surgery and recovery. Some people think that you become "too old" for surgery but I say phewwwwwwy!! With the aid of this wonderful tool you will have many healthier and happier years to realize the dream of living instead of being obese. God speed. KimmieTN
