O'happy Day...

 I am super excited!!! Today I went to see the doctor since my surgery on Friday, February 5. 2010.  Today is February 9, 2010 and I have lost 10 lbs!!! GO ME GO ME!!! I know this is only water weight but WHO CARES??? its 10lbs i dont have on me anymore!!!  

I will be getting my fill in 4 weeks - exactly 1 month from today!!! The doctor said he doesn't want to give me time to get hungry and besides I dont need the full 6 weeks recovery period, since i'm pretty young and healthy. Which I can say that I am.  I don't really have diabeties, high blood pressure or really high cholesterol.  I'm just fat --FOR NOW  ). 

There was an hour meeting with 2 other Realize Band patients. A nutritionist discussed everything about what to expect the following weeks and such. Which was really cool and informative.  I have to buy my vitamins and figure out how im gonna get 70 grams of protein of day in.  On my first lap-band fill I will meet with another nutritionist who will inform me on that phase of my post-op surgery and help me with my diet plan.  This nutritionist will be available to me for the rest of my life - free of charge!!


So yeah,  I am pretty excited thus far. I hope my following posts will be just as awesome!!
