4th Week- First Fill

Today I went in for my first fill. I was kinda nervous about it. The lady who did the fill for me was extremely nice. She knew I was nervous and I told her I hated needles so she tried to be gentle.  She tried to feel the port where the doctor usually puts it near the scar.. so she put the needle in thinking she had it- IT WAS NOT MY PORT. lol She said it was some scar tissue. She had to move a little further down to find my port. She felt really bad about having to pinch me again, but I was fine with it. She made me feel at ease. It was so weird to feel the needle going in the port though. lol. 

So, I'm on liquids for 24hrs then mushy foods for another 24 hours. But can i tell you - I AM SUPER HUNGRY! And no it is not head hunger...my stomach is GROWLING at me.  The nurse warned me that this fill might not give me much restriction- they usually dont.. bummer.  I have an appointment in a month but she said if i feel too hungry to make an appointment sooner. By the looks of it I may have to do just that. Only problem is my job.  I work in NYC and I live in NJ and the doctor is here in NJ - Im always having to take time off of work. My boss is understanding and was very supportive .. but still. It is my job.

Anywho, I hope everyone is doing well on your journey.. I've lost 19 thus far. YAY!! Here's to losing 19 more!!
