Slow but steady... I have noticed an appetite change since my medications changed. I was feeling better since this bad cold beat me down but I just cant bounce back completely. I am happy with a slow loss then no loss. I hope to have a sleeve in the future and maybe by then I will have my family's support. That is my biggest concern at this time.

Still have a cold but I weighed. Its s small difference but a difference in the right direction, so it is worth a mention.  Blessings.

My latest milestone achieved! I am in the 370's. Happy dance time! 

Reaching the 370s is my next milestone. 72.4 lbs lost to date!

Another pound gone, yay! 

I weighed March 1, 2014 at 383. My heaviest weight was 453 in 2008. I am proud of keeping it off... but need to lose much more. I title my weigh in posts with the weight. ~ Blessings to All in Love and Health~

First, I have lost and kept off 70 lbs for 6 years but I need to lose much more. I lost that weight using the Medifast plan while researching the Lap Band. I did not have a Lap Band. Recently my doctors recommend me for a vertical gastric sleeve for my health. I have been reading and watching everything I can access online from blogs to videos and its a great resource to start. Then I found my old journal here on ObesityHelp.com and I am back! I feel good about continuing my journey, one day at a time. I am currently under care for depression and anxiety and have fibromyalgia, sleep apnea, and other medical conditions. I don't have any issues with any descriptive words for obesity... fat, heavy, overweight, full figured, voluptuous, etc. I only have issues if any used to humiliate or bully a person. I have come a long way with my emotional connection to food which shows by not regaining the 70 lbs. My past was haunted with yo yo syndrome of losing only to regain plus more. ~ Blessings to All in Love and Health. ~

Where did the last three months go? These are the most productive months in my life journey and looking back now can see so much and it seems so long ago but it was only three months! In the past three months I have met some wonderful people, learned some fascinating things about myself, and started a whole new life. I guess you want to know my weigh in now? Are you sure? OMG .... I weigh 405 pounds today! Yes, OMG yes! I have lost 48 pounds in 12 weeks ... I feel wonderful! Today is here and I am living it!  I have a checkup with my doctor today and I will be struttin' into that office proudly. I can't wait to see his reaction. I am seeing this docter over two years and everything attempted in that time failed until now. I am so proud of myself. It is happy dance time and I have alot to be happy about!

Hello lovely peoples! I am blogging from my mother's house today. It is great to be out. I brought a pant and top I bought around my start time with me and showed my family. They were shocked and I was just smiling so wide and proud. I will take my latest photo tonight and it will be me standing not sitting this time. My sister helped me take my measurements and OMG! My thighs win the prize... 55.5 inches to 36.25 inches! We measured it twice to be sure and wow! Week 11 weighin is 44 pounds loss and at 409 pounds. I can taste my 50 pound goal... yes it is right around the corner... I better not blink or might miss it. LOL I am so very happy, happy happy! Did I tell you that I am happy ?!?!? I will post photos and the results of my measurements soon... I just had to share my good news... I lost 44 pounds in 11 weeks! Yay me!
